In honor of National Puppy Day, I am happy to introduce you all to Boone! After my dad lost Ceaser last fall, he knew he wanted to get another dog. Through word of mouth he found Sauk River Kennels, a breeder who specializes in hunting dogs. A litter was expected at the beginning of January 2017 so it was a perfect fit. Boone, his brothers, and sisters were born on January 10th and he came home in early March. I recently was able to go home over spring break and meet the little fellow! Since Ceaser was the first dog I'd ever been around as our family pet, I was not expecting Boone to be so different! He loves to cuddle and be close to humans at all times. Ceaser would not like to be held and would squirm out of reach every time. Of course Boone loves to chew on a lot of objects, but dad is already working on retrieving and obedience. I get to see both of them this weekend and will take more pictures! I am sure Boone has grown even in the two weeks since! Give your dogs an extra treat tonight for me! Happy National Puppy Day!
